Dash and the Dots are a Canadian original rock band based in Winnipeg. They first started playing clubs and touring across Canada in 1981 with:
Richard “Dash” Trann - Drums
Tasha Amabile - Vocals & Keys
Tamara Amabile - Vocals & Keys
Chris Brett - Vocals, Guitars & Keys
Richard Carpick - Guitars & Vocals
John Neal - Bass & Vocals
In 1983, they went on to pursue individual musical endeavours, and moved to other parts of the country. In 2010 they were all able to get together in Winnipeg for a reunion show and also recorded a few songs in 2011. Then in 2013, as five of the members were now living in Winnipeg, they decided to reform and make an album, bringing aboard:
